EBacc subjects influencing students choices
A year ago this would have been a question, it’s now a statement. Many of the newspapers including the BBC Education section, are reporting that secondary schools are pressuring students into choosing subjects that will help the school and not the student. The next curriculum year also sees the first exams from the new maths and English GCSE curriculum which has far more functional skills related content. It will be interesting to see how those students do
